Steps to Making A Ribbon Panel
— Each finished Ribbon panel is a double thickness of material 36″ wide by 18″ high. It can be any color.
— On this panel sew, paint, write, embroider, applique, weave, knit, tie dye or use crayons or ornaments of any kind to express what you most love about the world and want to protect from nuclear disaster.
— Attach 9″ ribbons or bias tape to each corner so that your panel could be tied to another Ribbon panel
— On the back of your Ribbon panel you can write a message or comment explaining your reason for creating your particular Ribbon piece
— When you’ve finished your panel, please post a picture of it on our The Ribbon Minnesota Facebook page
— Invite your friends to join you in making Ribbon panels. The Ribbon we create will be displayed in August 2020 at events in Minneapolis & St. Paul marking the 75th Anniversary of the Bombing of Nagasaki & Hiroshima
